With a proven track record of successful transactions and happy clients, Ellie Washington prides herself on her tenacious, organized, and results-driven work ethic. She feels the ultimate sense of satisfaction being able to guide her clients through some of the most important financial decisions of their lives, building equity and wealth.
Ellie is well versed in the nuances of SLO real estate, from urban to rural, coastal to inland, and residential to agricultural properties. She worked under one of the most successful San Luis Obispo realtors for 4 years before venturing off on her own. Ellie was bit by the real estate bug back in 2010 when she bought her first property, the ugliest duplex in her favorite neighborhood. Since then, she has been managing and buying properties for more than 15 years, with expertise in both owner-occupied and investment properties, as well as long-term and short-term rentals. Before her real estate career, Ellie worked in marketing and public relations for nearly 20 years, which she consistently taps into, from skillfully marketing her sellers' listings to negotiating deals.
Deeply involved in the local community, Ellie enjoys volunteering her time and talents with local organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for both SLO Repertory Theatre and the Downtown SLO Association, volunteers for the local NPR-affiliate KCBX, and is the VP of her Homeowners' Association. She is also a proud member of the San Luis Obispo Association of Realtors, the CA Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
A 2002 Cal Poly alum, Ellie couldn’t resist the opportunity to return to the SLO life in 2013. She lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband, who teaches Architecture at Cal Poly, and their son. They love calling the Central Coast home and enjoy hiking, biking, and wine tasting in their free time.
